I really enjoyed this book. It's the story of an american born girl that goes to Germany just before WW2 starts because her Father is going to work there. The war breaks out when they are on the ship to Germany and they cannot get back to America, Eleanor ends up in spending 7 years in Germany and endures much hardship because of the war. It's a well written and very interesting read, although it says it's for children and may apeal to children because it's about a child it still held my interest as an adult. If you like reading survival stories you will like this one.
