I am trying to send out books to someone and keep getting the above message.  I PM'd the person asking if they knew why I was getting this message.  She confirmed her address and said she had never heard of anyone having a problem.  Any suggestions, other than having to take them to the PO?

Thanks,

Renae

Well, I read  that someone else was having this problem as well but they just kept trying and it finally worked.  So that's what I did and it finally worked.  Weird, but I'm glad I don't have to go to the PO!

The address needs to match the USPS postal address (must be on USPS-validated list), and sometimes this is as small a change as using Rd instead of Road.  Try typing out the address again with no abbreviations and resubmit for postage.  Or using different abbreviation.  Or take out unusual characters like Apt. # (put on 2nd address line instead).  Often these tricks will get the system to accept the address for printing postage.

You can check the address for the USPS validated version here: http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/welcome.jsp

Good luck!
