Very entertaining, if you're not looking for historical accuracy! It compresses the events of many, many years of Elizabeth's reign into a few months. Interesting characters with interesting twists on their doings. Enjoyable.

Tie in to the movie with Cate Blanchett. Not historically correct, but none the less, a good story.

Much better than the movie it was based on.
