I've been a fan since I was 10, in 1956 - and there really are a lot of very rare photographs in this book! My hubby looked through it as I was posting, and made the comment that it was a wonder Elvis let one photograph be put in there as he felt it was unflattering. (Not sure Elvis could have stopped it at that stage) The photograph gives me the impression that Elvis and his girlfriend are having an argument by their expressions. She is on one side of the room in a chair, looking down. He is sitting on a sofa with his shoes and shirt off, with hair tousled. The photo's in the book are clearly void of touch-ups, which I liked. Personally I think he looks adorable !
There is a lot of in depth information that the photographer noted, things I never knew. Cute photo's like him touching tongues with a girl friend, off guard moments in his early life.
