Posted a book that has about 30 members wishing
"Sand in My Bra..."
Been waiting for an  email indicating that the book requested, now 4 days...

What am I missing???  I know each "wisher" may take 48 hrs to decide  BUT  does the sytem let the poster know that the book is now being offered to someone different again for a new 48 hr period

Would be nice!

It'll just sit under your Wish List Holds tab under your account until someone requests it.  As soon as someone does, you'll get an email.

Nope, it just passes it along silently, to spare you the extra emails.

Per the Help Center:

"When you Post a book that another member is wishing for, the book will be offered to the member immediately. Your account will show the notation below:

          Reserved On: (date)
Status: Waiting 48 hours for other member
to confirm that they still want this book.

    * When the Wishing member confirms that she wants the book, you will be notifed by email.

    * If she declines the book (or does not respond within 48 hours), your book will immediately be offered to the next member on the Wish List for that book.
-- You will not get an auto-email notifying you of this cancellation; the offer will just be passed along.
-- If no other members are wishing for that book, it will go onto your bookshelf. (If this happens, you will get an auto-email telling you that this has happened.)"

Cheers,

Catt
