Goddy accused of murder! This is my favorite so far!
This series has been entertaining the whole way. However, there was something about this particular book that had me sneaking in a page or two whenever I could. I stayed up late. I ignored my children's calls for help. I just HAD to keep reading.
(I think much of my need to get through this quickly is because I now know the characters so well. If this were the first in the series I had read, I don't think I would have been nearly so desperate to get it read.)
Now I have to WAIT for the next one to be published!
I'm enjoying the M. Ferris series. This continues the life and cases of Betsy. A nice read.
After her friend Godwin is arrested for the murder of his boyfriend, Betsy sets out to prove him innocent. She finds that the victim had some dishonest dealings that made him a lot of money-and a lot of enemies. Now, Betsy has to untangle a cat's-cradle of lies if she's going to save Godwin before the murderer decides to cut off the loose ends for good.
Great story and a great pattern in the back
Another great cozy mystery by Monica Ferris! This time Betsy Devonshire, the owner of Crewel World, tries to help Godwin, her dependable, right-hand employee, when he is accused of murder!
Wonderful read - latest in the series
A Needlecraft Mystery. Full-time needlework shop owner and part-time sleuth Betsy Devonshire has already sewn up her share of crafty conundrums in the USA Today bestselling Needlecraft Mystery series. Now Betsy takes on her most difficult, and deeply personal case ever.
A winning cozy series...As always Ferris sprinkles a generous helping of knitting and cross stitch tips throughout.-Publishers Weekly.
9th in the series. Enjoyable setting and characters, but I was a little disappointed with the storyline.
Another great needlecraft mystery, This time Godwin is in trouble!
This series continues to hold a person's attention and interest. GREAT!
Another great book by the author. Can not pass this one by- Godwin gets into hot water Betsy has to solve the murder to save him.
I usually enjoy this series, and the story has the usual interesting references to yarns and needlework which I enjoy. However although there were some interesting characters, it was almost impossible to keep them straight in my mind because there were so many of them, some of whom did nothing to carry the story line forward.
Another good book in this fun series.
When wealthy but temperamental attorney John Nye is found dead in his home, suspicion immediately is cast on his lover, Godwin, and it's up to Goddy's boss, needlecraft shop owner Betsy Devonshire, to find the real killer and get Goddy off the hook. (Need we say that she succeeds?)
Another excellent needlework mystery. Everything is predictable, but still enjoyable.
This was very good since it involved key characters. BUT Betsey didnt solve it! Her spy did! Still a great read!
