Dorothy's aunt and uncle come to Oz after failing to make the farm work. It was just to much "oh, everyone is good and happy in Oz" in one chapter while the next shows some neerdowell getting together all the malcontent elements of Oz. Baum just contradicted himself and it was all extremely, to much so for me, sugary syrupy sap.

I think I am Oz'd out with this book. Maybe 1 a year from now on...

I loved these books as a girl. This copy is in excellent condition. I was given to me in 1974.
