Excellently written. As always a pleasure to read. It deals with the reality of gossip, what it does to those you gossip about and the ones nearest to gossipee and yourself. It also touches on the reality/cruelty that unhappy people direct toward someone else with no particular reason.
This book was well written except there seemed to be constant fighting going on within the families. It seemed strange that none of the parents stood up for their children or gave any encouragement to their children.
Tens years ago, devastated by an ugly scandal, Brooke fled the small town of Hayden to pursue a career as a stained glass artist. Now Brooke has returned on business to discover that some things never change. Her spotted reputation remains. Tongues still wag. And that makes what should be her dream assignment tough.
