If you have ever been enraptured by the BBC series, "One Man and a Dog," this is the book for you! Follows the author as he travels to Scotland to find a sheepdog, or Border Collie, as they are known here, to take to sheep herding trials here in the U.S. Close up look at sheep trialing in the UK, especially Scotland and the author's encounters with the leading shepherds in Scotland. I found it very interesting and there is also a goodly dose of Scottish history and social history.
