I am only a little past halfway through, and this book is breaking my heart!!  :(

Please, LORD, let me have some kind of happy ending or I'm gonna jump off a cliff.  I feel so bad for little Emma.  Carrie, too, but Emma especially.  (you know why....)

Just wait until you get to the end of the story.....

I read this a few months ago.  It was heartwrenching and the end had me spinning around on my head.  I've never read a book with such an ending.  I think you'll like it.  :)

This was an incredible book!  I thought it would be great for a book discussion group.  It really makes you stop and think..

OMG.  I finished it this morning before work.  I got up early to do it, that's how bad I wanted to finish it.

I am speechless.

I adore this book.  I can't wait to pass it around my reading circle.  I just HAVE to discuss it with someone, but I don't want to post any spoilers here.

Isn't it frustrating to want to talk about it, but not reveal anything??  I was hoping you would come back and let us know if you liked it when you finished, Misty.  ;)

Colleen...let us know what you think!  You too, Tiff, when you read it.

Alright, you got me to order it too!  It looks really good.  Have any of you read anything else by this author?  It looks like her other books deal with some serious issues too.  Personally I had never heard of Elizabeth Flock so I am looking forward to a new good author.  Thanks for recommending this book, this is why I love the Hidden Gems forum!

Yes, Vicky, it is EXTREMELY frustrating!  :)  Maybe we could make a thread clearly marked "spoiler thread!" to talk about it.....  but I would just HATE to ruin it for anyone.

I LOVE this site, and I love these forums.  *group hug*

I have to say, I figured out the ending (or the main plot theme) at about the 3rd or 4th chapter.  I think that's because reviews always talked about the ending, so I put on my detective cap as I read.  Otherwise, I would have been shocked.  Very sad and very good.  Misty, PM me if you want to talk about it, cause I have a couple questions.

If you loved  Me & Emma make sure to add her newest book to your WL's.  It won't be out until March 1st, but I was able to read an ARC of it.  I thought it was fantastic.  The ending left me in tears.
