"There's no body, no evidence, just a strange, homeless guy trying to convince Detective Sam Sloan that a creep called Jester killed somebody. Sloan's not sure what to think - but if a crime has been committed, he'll find out. Tenacious and street smart, with faith underlying his fight for justice, Sloan ferrets out a gang of suspects and a murder more brutal than he ever imagined. And just when the trail is at its hottest, Sloan's wife, Vera, joins him to hunt for a vital piece of evidence. But can they find it?"
