Erotic paranormal romance from Ellora's Cave. Nina Reyes is a bad girl gone good. When she was younger, she did what she had to, in order to take care of herself, and her brother. Nina is a survivior who has changed her ways, and cleaned up her life. Then, her brother, who's been infected with lycanthropy, runs from his Pack, and comes to her, in trouble. This brings Pack enforcer Lex to her door. Lex figures out right away that the sassy, brash human woman is his mate. But, Nina is nothing like the deferential women of the Pack. So, Nina and Lex have to figure out thier bond, and get to the bottom of her brother's troubles at the same time. The plot is fair, the sex scenes are hot, and the characters are likeable. Some parts of the plot are a little rushed, one day Nina is greiving, the next day she's falling in love. The dialogue is a fun, but a little overdone, in some places. Overall, book is better than fair.
