I really want to like this series more than I do - the characters are interesting and have great chemistry, the tea information is great and the recipes are wonderful. I just can't get past the fact that Theodosia *seems* far older than she is represented in the books. Beyond that, this was a well written entry into the series and an enjoyable read.

As a lover of tea and mysteries I enjoy this series. They’re cozies; just right for some light reading before bed. I enjoyed the tea shop setting, and all the talk about different teas and desserts made me wish I had a tea shop like this near me.

This series gets better with every book. For me, the series started out ho hum, but I really liked the characters, so I continued with it. I'm really glad that I did because each book is better than the previous. This one being no exception. This series has gone from 3 stars to 4 ... hopefully, it will continue this way.
Theodosia is ever so likable, as is Drayton and Hayley - they've now become some of my favorite characters in fiction. It's not necessary to read these in order, and this can certainly be read as a stand alone.
