Copyright 1968, this edition 1974. Short english poems,riddles, proverbs, nursery rhymes and songs on left page, german translation on right page. (Jack and Jill, St. Ives, Oh Susanna, Hamlet's "To Be or Not To Be", "Early to Bed, Early to Rise...") This sort of material is very hard to translate, to me there seems to be little effort to make the german translation sound like poetry, the purpose seems to be for german speakers to get the meaning of the popular english works.
