I can't believe I can't find it, I totally thought there was one. I have a big series of erotica by one writer that I want to offer to a single person if possible. I thought there would be for sure an erotica forum, but maybe I just can't find it? It's not paranormal. Anyone here know where a post like that would go? I'd hesitate posting it to the Love & Romance because the subject matter would probably blow the bodice rippers right off those readers' chests! Thanks anyone for the help!

Ahem...well, as one of those "bodice-ripper" readers on the L&R forum, I can tell you that that assumption is not at all true.  There are a LOT of erotica readers there, and many erotica books discussed and swapped.  If you offered up your books in the "Is this on your WL" thread, I guarantee you'd have takers within minutes!  Romance is a widely varied genre- it's not all just Danielle Steele anymore!  I think you might be surprised by some of the discussions that have happened in that forum!

We talk a lot about eroticas on the L&R thread and hardly ever about bodice rippers.

I agree it would be nice if there was a erotica forum, I've looked for one myself, had no idea to look in the romance department, erotica is such a huge genre, some areas you wouldn't classify it with romance, but downright torture.

Perhaps "love and romance" should be renamed "romance and erotica"? I'd say we get about equal amounts of both genres in that forum.

Lol, Heather.  This cracked me up.  Some of us in that forum read erotica - in fact, many of us do.  And they don't actually write "bodice rippers" anymore.  Those are old skool these days:P

Let's see if this works:        Den of Sin: The Chat Room

There's a bunch of us erotica readers, about 40+.    We participate in lots of the erotica swaps, and swap one to one titles among us.   One of the ladies (thanks Misty!) started this particular forum for us to chat in, compare books, and generally be naughty!     Come on over, and be welcome.

By the way, we'd love to know what titles you've got!

Well, - sooooo - should I ask here or over on that forum?  Many men members (no pun intended) ever post there?  Do theyknow about it?  Do you want them to know about it?  Just your general nosey questions from someone who doesn't know much about these things!

I haven't noticed any men hanging out over there.

Oh, thanks, my series was "The Marketplace" by Laura Antoniou. I x-posted before I saw your link about "The Den" (in GLBT, Romance, and the Bazaar) and found a taker for the books. But it sounds like there could be a whole group of fans ready for its own forum!
