There was one at one time where someone was asking about good erotica books.  It was  a while ago so it's probably long gone.  As you can see they usually get snapped up quick even if they aren't WL.

I wish there were a regular erotica/erotic romance thread.  I'd be interested in finding out what authors other readers like/dislike.

Let's just use this one:   The fact that I read a lot of erotica doesn't mean I don't have a sex life btw.  But dear hubby is in the Navy and gone a lot (like now).  A girl gets lonely.

I read Illicit Pursuits by Marie Harte this weekend. Great book.

Erotica book websites: Ellorascave.com, Newconceptspublishing.com.  You can read excerpts from most books on these websites and find out which are in print.

Fave erotica authors:

Jaci Burton

Lora Leigh

Michelle M. Pillow

Angelia Whiting

Diane Whiteside

Jaide Foxe

there's a thread or two floating around somewhere.

some of my faves are:

Lora Leigh's seal series (not sure if 'official erotica' or not but they were pretty friggin' hot in my opinion and good stories too!)

Lora Leigh's 'forbidden pleasure'

Lisa Marie Rice : midnight series(midnight man, midnight run, midnight angel - 2nd was my least favorite but these overlap the same 1-2 week period of time) also 'dangerous lover' was good IMO...woman on the run was ok but didn't like it as well for some reason or other; probably because a woman was in hiding witness protection thingy..ick...

my newest favorites: jory strong's crime tells series: lyric's cop, cady's cowboy, and calista's men...lyric's cop has a very dominant male, cady's cowboy is probably the 'gentler' male of the 3, and calista's men has twins with one woman but I liked it a lot; probably my fave...and the characters overlap.

ellora's cave also has 3 christmas anthologies...think they're 'white hot holidays' 1, 2,3 and they have a lot of variety..some better than others.

My favorite authors right now are:

Joey Hill, who writes for Ellora's Cave

Kaitlyn O'Connor who writes for New Concepts Publishing

and Emma Holly.

I'm also a Lora Leigh fan, and Susanna, I definitely think her SEALs series qualify as erotica!  (whew, HOT HOT HOT!!).   I'm not familiar with a lot of other authors, so I am so glad to be getting some suggestions from other readers here.  I have read a couple things by Anya Bast, who I saw had a book or two on the Ellora's Cave site.

What's Lora Leigh's SEAL series?  I'm a SEAL addict - LOL!  Which books are they?

I like Lora Leigh as well.  That Forbidden Pleasure was a scorcher.  I just got a copy of Nauti Nights from one of the Amazon sellers.  Can't wait to dive into that one.

THe Seal books are Hidden Agendas and crap now I can't remember the other titles.  There's a couple short ones in anthologies (Real men do it better and anther one).  There's a new one coming out soon too. If you go to her website you can see her different series.

Forbidden Pleasues is an offshoot of an Ebook series called Bound Hearts that she has.  They are heavy on BDSM and "sharing".

Lora Leigh's Seal stories are (not sure of hte order except I know dangerous games is 2nd and hidden agendas is 4th!) there's a5th out or coming out and not sure of that title but the 1st and 3rd are in anthologies-honk if you love real men and real men do it better..raven's story is first so maybe we can tell from the reviews...then her brother clint is in the 2nd..and this was my first taste of S&M /anal and boy oh boy did it open my eyes! I didn't even know they made vibrating butt plugs...

ETA: honk if you love real men is 1st then dangerous games, real men do it better, hidden agendas...

I know my opinion on Lora Leigh is different, but I'm sort of burned out on her.   I've read her story in Ties That Bind (Ellora's Cave), Marley's Choice, Loving Lies, Bound Heart's: Submission/Seduction, Megan's Mark, and maybe a few others.   I've even read one of the SEAL books.    Many of the themes are the same.  He is the uber dom, and she' will submit to him.   Now, I pass by her titles.

I've read Anya Bast's Season of Pleasures series.  I liked them.

LL does have a thing about female submission, doesn't she?  She is from Kentucky and has written about places that I am  familiar with.

well, I don't like submission when it's really degogatory and demeaning but the women seem to like their men that way in Leigh's books...but I have to take a break from it sometimes...the 1st of her seal stories I just read today and I liked forbidden pleasure but the nauti books I had more trouble with in that aspect.
