This is a great book about negative thinking and how negative thinking affects you.

This is an "oldie but goodie!" I acquired the book in less than "stellar" condition - but the highlights and comments in the book did not diminish my enjoyment. This is a great book to read in a journey to free yourself from the opinion of others!

Although the book sometimes goes to extremes (I think he uses best-case, out-there examples to drive his point home), I thought there was some interesting information in the book. I recognized a few things that I do, and some things that others do, too. Not a bad read for a 30 year old book with some good information.

When you see the name of Wayne Dyer, you know that the book is not good but great. If you are trying to help yourself get along in the world of today, trust me, you will want this book. The only reason I am trading this paperback is because I now have it on cd.

My counselor suggested I read this book even though it was very old. She said it helped her long ago and thought it would help me. I have picked up some tips but overall I think the book is somewhat silly. I am having a hard time even reading the whole thing. I would not recommend it.

I am not really for any therapy that tells the patient THEY are the problem and THEY can solve it just by thinking other thoughts. That does not make problems go away. If I need to calm down I'd rather take a pill than read this book.
