Shortly after the Salem Witch trials, a similar occurence rocked Connecticut. This book gives an in-depth view of the events of this time and really gives a new understanding of the mindset of the times. It explains how the events in Salem were not typical of the witch-hunts of early New England, and the Afterword explains how Godbeer was able to piece the puzzle together. I loved it!
