Every Christian girl should read this book. It convicted me so much. I could really relate to Ester and everything she was going through. Alden gives an interesting story along with a powerful message. It shows how believers need to wake up and live lives burning with a passion for souls and Christ. A must-read.

I have read Ester Ried several times and like it better each time as I am encouraged anew to fulfill each task as for Christ. Ester is not a pious, angelic girl who is nearly perfect. She is just a normal girl with everyday experiences which Im sure most of us can relate to, tough the book was written in the 1800s. I highly recommend any book written by Pansy!
