What a delightful book. Anyone who pooh-poohs graphic novels should be given this book. It is truly heart-warming. I returned to many of the pages again because the illustrations held such depths of emotion and meaning.

Always a favorite, enjoyed the story. Sad at times but such a lovely book that tells the way of life in England many years ago. Just three people with a fourth added through marriage. Tells the story on how they lived through tough times.
