Interesting account of a Pontic Greek family's death march during early 20th century genocide in Turkey told by Sano Halo's daughter, Thea. True story interwoven with the country's history - learned quite a bit about a period of history and an area of the world I knew little about. Sano was able to hold strong and survive to raise a large family in America. Fascinating and well-told.
