Author: Kay Arthur
A spellbinding story with an intriguing twist. Christianna simply couldn't believe it. Although she was a comely woman, she was a despised outcast--a half-breed--with a Jewish father and a Gentile mother. Yet before her was a letter from a passionate but unseen lover--the legendary Joshua of Jerusalem--who wanted her as his bride.

This is one of the most beautiful books I've ever read. A love story as an analogy to your relationship with Christ, how much more beautiful can it be? I enjoyed it so much that I gave it as a gift to a friend and then had to find a copy for myself.

It is a story of love and forgiveness; the gift we all wish we could find and the path to finding it.

Though she was a beautiful woman, she was a despised halfbreed - a Samaritan. Yet in her hands she held a letter from the legendary Joshua of Jerusalem, a Jewish man of great wealth and prominence - and he wanted her as his bride.

Why would he want to marry a lowly woman like me? she wondered. More letters followed, assuring her of his great love. Yet there was one stipulation: They were not to see one another until their wedding day.

Could Christianna commit her heart to this unseen lover?

Can you commit your heart to the unseen lover of your soul? A beautiful illistration of Christ's love for his bride.
