What a magnificent writer. How the hell does he come up with these ideas? These places? These names? Does he dream them? Does he have visions? Do they just come to him? Unreal.

I had never been a fan of the gore that is Clive Barker, but this one is not bad at all.

Hardcover is 697 pages.

Barker challenges the readers idea of reality. This one is worth the read with or without the 1st book.

Not a huge Clive Barker fan, but I loved this book. After I read it, I discovered it was part of a trilogy, but it didn't matter to my enjoyment of the book.

Excellent second part to the still unfinished trilogy of The Art. Barker at his fantastical best
