Absolute non stop action. A powerful attorney, whose client is a mystery, hires Dana Cutler, a private detective to follow a young female college student. She follows the young student to a secret meeting with Chris Farrington, the President of the United States. The following morning the young girl's body is found. She was brutally murdered. Can the President be involved? Could the president be involved in additional murders tied to his past?
An attorney in Oregon is working on an appeal of a convicted serial killer. One of his victims worked for the President when he was governor. Could the cases be tied together?
All I can say is I couldn't put this book down. Probably Margolin's best yet.

The premise is fairly unplausible, but the book is a fast, suspensful read and it was easy to get caught up in the story.

this is one of the best books I have read in a long time. It keeps you guessing from beginning to end. It is hard to put down once you start reading. This is certainly one of Margolin's best stories.
