"Exile" is a well- researched, informative novel as to Israeli-Palestinian issues. The plot is somewhat predictable, but still entertaining and a good read.

I don't think I've ever read a book that is more applicable to today's current affairs. This book really offers one rare insights into both sides of the middle eastern issue without any bias of the author.

The way he weaves the central action/plot through this web is extraordiarily remarkable. This book will cross genres and you cannot help but come away changed in some way from having read it.

Action, courtroom thriller, whodunit, etc. This one touches all the bases.

Patterson strays a bit from his normal formula to deliver a long (700+ pages) somewhat pedantic story involving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. At his best when he sticks to courtroom scenes, this was still a good read, just not one of his best.

This is a compelling book that revolves around the Israel-Palestinian conflict. The story moves quickly and the background facts are historically accurate. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries and likes to learn a little history at the same time,
