This book is an intriguing collection of information. While I was familiar with some of these facts, most were new to me. I was as taken with the historical facts presented as with the origins I had never suspected. Wow. Great read. This book has the added advantage of being many separate chapters and sections, so it is a good book to have on hand when waiting in the doctor's office or while commuting. You can stop easily without loosing the thread of what you are reading.
