Please use this thread to post thanks for the RAOK gifts, wishes granted, and anything else you are thankful for here on PBS. Hopefully, we can keep the RAOK and I Wish threads easier to check for wishes to grant and goodies to grab.

Note: And please be sure to thank members who grant your RAOK wishes. It's not necessary to do it here, but do PM to let them know you received your gifts. Too many things have been lost in the mail. Lately, members have mentioned that they have not heard from the members that they have sent things to and wonder if they have been rec'd. We hesitate to keep sending to someone who does not acknowledge, as we do not know if other items were rec'd. If someone declines your request, that may be the reason.

Members contact me in frustration, saying that they do not know if items are rec'd and that it is usually the same members who do not correspond. Most have decided not to send to those members, again. It is sad but necessary to them. Please respond in some way.

If you have questions, please feel free to PM me and ask.

A big thanks to Jeanne for taking a turn at the threads. It gives me and Irene a break, which we appreciate. (She was heavily recruited  and it worked!!  Ha! )

Also thanks to all who PMd me and sent Irene cards after her surgery.  I'm happy to report she is home from the hospital.  Now if we can just keep her recovering slowly like she's supposed to........!   Hope to see you back here soon, Irene, but please take care.   If anyone else wants to send her a card, you are welcome to PM me for her address.

My thanks to Linda and Debbie for the unsolicited gifts.  Received locking plastic bags from Linda and small envelopes from Debbie for sending seeds.  While I'm done for now I will soon be using these instead of wrapping carefully in plastic wrap.  Thanks, too, to 09suzij for the school coupons.  Our school is poor and can use all the help they can get.  Can't forget Pat for sending the gloves which go to a special little girl who can really use them!  Hope I haven't forgotten anyone.

Leavenworth, Ks is closed!  It began snowing last night and has only gotten worse as the day has gone on.

I rec'd cards so I want to thank:  my dear friend Pat, Sandi and Rebecca for the lovely and cheerful cards.  I am feeling  better and go to doctor on Friday morn(providing it stops snowing!)
