Is it possible for a book to have the same ISBN ? I was requested a Joyce Meyer book which I sent and now she marked it saying she wanted the study guide to it.  I know my book was posted right. I see it says that on the picture when I go back but I know the ISBN matched. Covers are not always right. What do you think.

If the ISBN, title, booktype, and author all matched then you posted it correctly and they must have mis-ordered. It is possible that the study guide has the same ISBN number, but chances are the book had it first, which is why the isbn is assigned to the book in our database. If she found the study guide listed elsewhere and ordered soley based on ISBN, then this was her error and she should indicate in the transaction archive that the book was RWAP'd in error.

If the ISBN, title, author, and binding matched the book data information, then you posted correctly Kay.  Per PBS guidelines, the cover pic does not have to match.

Research and requesting the correction edition are the requester's responsibililty.  ISBN, title, author, binding, postability are the sender's responsibility.

Is it possible there's a data error?  The PBS data base is very accurate, but there are occassional errors.  At one point I researched a book from the 1970's but realized when I attempted to enter the ISBN here at PBS a different book was coming up.  After more research, it appeared that the PBS (author) data was incorrect .  I submitted a request for correction and was then able to wishlist and receive the correct book.

ETA - and yes, a few publishers re-use ISBN's.  This is more common in older books than newer publications.

This is what I posted

http://www.paperbackswap.com/How-Hear-God-Joyce-Meyer/book/0446691240/

but the cover says study guide which is the wrong cover.

This is what she wanted but the ISBN is different

Yeah, she was wrong to go by cover image (though that should be changed since it is incorrect), I would explain this to her and ask her to mark the RWAP in error.

I didn't see it mentioned, so I submitted a correct image for approval. It can take up to 2 weeks to get into the system, but hopefully it will help in the future.

I would ask the receiver to submit followup saying it was marked RWaP in error. It was their mistake and shouldn't have been marked that way.

So far I havent gotten any reply back, I asked for her to check the ISBN so maybe she saw her mistake or is just busy. Not like she cant post it.
