When you've read hundreds of mysteries, it's a real thrill when you're able to pick out the criminal before the author reveals the truth. But it is also a thrill when the author keep you wondering until the end of the book.
I began to suspect the killer about the middle of this book, and even had an idea who one of the women in the boarding house really worked for.
Still, the novel was a page turner for me. Unfortunately, while listed as (Helluva War, Bk1), there is no sequel to this novel by two authors. I checked under both their names in Fantastic Fiction and neither had written another episode to this 2012 novel.
