Enjoyed very much, great story, good twists, learning more about J.P. (Beau).
I really liked this book. It really develops Beau's character.
Another good J.P. Beaumont mystery.
This is a J. P. Beaumont mystery that takes place at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland. Quite good.
When J.P. Beaumont's teenaged daughter runs away, her tracks lead the sober-but-struggling sleuth to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. And, in addition to his very headstrong offspring, Beau find something else backstage: a case of cold-blooded murder.
A JP Beaumont mystery. Beau's teenage daughter Kelly has run off and her tracks have led the sober-but-struggling sleuth to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. But in addition to one very headstrong offspring, there is something else waiting for Beau backstage: a case of cold=blooded murder.
J.P. Beaumont's teenaged daughter Kelly has run off---and her tracks have led to the sober but struggling sleuth to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. But in addition to one very headstrong offspring, there is something else waiting for Beau backstage; a case of cold blooded murder.
The victim is an acquaintance---a sleazy rival P.I. brutally butchered, supposedly by the festival's young Juliet....though Beau has his doubts. But the second act is about to open with a second corpse and a touch of kiddie porn---leaving Beau center stage in a heart stopping tragedy of revenge, deception and death.
Beaumont locks horns with a small town sheriff while attending a Shakespeare festival. For anyone who likes these characters it is a very good story. Includes Beaus family.
A good book. A quick read though.
A j.p. beaumont mystery..realistic and enjoyable, a well thought out mystery
Good read with a great ending
A desperate father's search for his runaway daughter has led him to the last place he ever expected to find her: backstage at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. But the murders in this dazzling world of make-believe are no mere stagecraft, and the blood is all too real. The hunt for his child has plunged former Seattle Homicide Detective J.P. Beaumont into a bone-chilling drama of revenge, greed, and butchery, where innocents are made to suffer in perverse and terrible ways. And many more young lives are at stake, unless he can uncover the villain of the piece before the final, deadly curtain falls.
