A really fun read,it took a great imagination to come up with these characters. The story is sexy, funny, and keeps you guessing. My favorite Crusie so far.

I loved this book. These days I am into light, fun beach reads and this one had it all. Kept me laughing until the end. Ms. Crusie has an unusual style of writing which takes a little getting used to but I definitely recommend staying with it, you won't be disappointed. I have enjoyed all her books and was very happy with this one as well.

Very clever! This one has been sort of slow going...read it, put it down, pick it up again ... then it starts getting very intriguing, then brilliantly confusing, then it is all cleared up very wittily. By the end of the book, I was laughing out loud and cheering for ALL of the characters, good and bad. A very enjoyable read!

This book is a spin off of Welcome to Temptation and features Davy Dempsey as the main character. He finally gets his Happily Ever After with a heroine and her family just perfect for someone bent like Davy! Phin and Sophie from Temptation make cameo appearances. Loved it!

While working together they must deal with Mathilda's sister, Eve, who has two identities, Davy's conman father, suspicious art collectors, and a hitman.
This was a very amusing, if somewhat confusing, romantic comedy. There are tons of characters, many of which you don't know where they fit into the story. Everything ties up nicely in the end. My ratig: 4 Stars.

Funny and whitty. Great read. If you like Janet Evanovich you will like Jennifer Cruise. Great story line and this is the best one she has written yet.

By far my favorite book by Jennifer Crusie! The colorful and quirky Goodnight family really cracked me up. Faking It was such a fun read, particularly if you enjoy flawed characters and art.

A bit on the hard-to-follow side, but I love Jennifer Crusie, so it was a fun romp.

A cute, lighthearted read. I enjoyed "Bet Me" a lot better, but the ending of this one was laugh out loud funny.
Mathilde has too many worries to add another one to her life, even if it is a good looking man. Davy is after the woman who stole his money, and learns that Mathilde is acquainted with her. They strike a deal. Mathilde will help Davy in his search, and Davy will help Mathilde with her problems. Cute story, with several ironies.

He's trying to steal back the money he filched from Clea Lewis, ex-girlfriend (and possible husband killer), who had taken it right back. Tilda just wants her last "Scarlet" painting, which Clea has bought to impress Mason Phipps, her rich art-obsessed beau. It's the last of six forgeries Tilda did for Tony, her now deceased gallery-owner dad, and Tilda is determined to preserve her newly squeaky-clean reputation. Confused yet? It gets wackier, because the whole Goodnight clan and supporting cast are as enormously engaging as the loopy plot. There's Tilda's mother, Gwen; her sister, Eve/Louise, a split-personality teacher/diva; her gay ex-brother-in-law, Andrew; and her precocious teenage niece, Nadine. Add a host of shady characters and would-be hitmen, and the breezy plot thickens and puffs up like the light airy doughnuts all Goodnight women are attracted to but eventually forsake for muffins: "Muffins are for the long haul and they always taste good. They don't have that oh-my-God-I-have-to-have-that thing that the doughnuts have going for them, but you still want them the next morning." Finally, defying all odds, Crusie answers the burning questions she poses can liars and thieves fall in love, live happily ever after and stay out of jail? while confirming the dangers of dating doughnuts.

All of Jennifer Crusie's books have a little intrigue and romance. They are a fun, quick read.
Wacky, funny, sexy, and full of outrageous characters. The heroine's family is in trouble, and to save their gallery, she needs to steal back some paintings they sold. But she needs help; to her rescue comes a con man who has his own agenda. Throw in an estranged father, a gold-digger, a hit man, and an FBI agent- lots of twists and turns that will keep you entertained.

"Faking It" is my favorite Crusie book to date! It was my first and the first chapter didn't immediately grab me but then, later on, I was literally laughing out loud as I read. Five Stars!
