From back cover: In just a few months, Alacrity Fitzhugh and Hobat Floyt had claimed Hobart's inheritance from the ruler of a small interstellar empire, then returned to Earth and toppled its government. But Alacrity had more important goals than bodyguarding Hobart -- he wanted command of the fabulous White Ship, the huge starship designed to track down the secrets of the ancient and powerful Percusor aliens. Yet it took only a few minutes at the White Ship's helm for Alacrity to learn that a Captain's problems can be tougher than the "real work" of a knockabout Spacer. And that solving them could cost a piece of his heart.

The third and final volume in the adventures of Hobart Floyt and Alacrity Fitzhugh.

Here, we learn a bit more about the Precursors, the galaxy in general, its entertainment industry (Circe Minx!) and oh yeah, Alacrity's past. Its a nice wrap up promising more adventures for the two. I always think of them out there in that universe exploring, getting into and out of trouble.

A worthwhile read people. Enjoy it.
