I finished Thunder and Roses a couple of days ago and just thought that it was OK.  Nothing great.  Now I am trying to decide if I should read the rest or post them.  Are the others in the series any better?  Which was your favorite?   Thanks

it kinda does not compute for me that anyone doesnt like T&R unless MJP's writing leaves u unmoved in general.

anyway, to answer your question, the most popuklaR BOOK FROM THE SERIES MIGHT BE BOOK 4 - SHATTERED rainboes - michael's story.

Have you tried The Rake by MJP?   I dont believe its part of this series but this book is one of the authors best.

Jess, I did like T&R but, maybe not enough if the rest of the series is about the same.   I like books where I can't put them down and this one I kinda had to make myself finsh.  I like fast moving books.  Maybe that's it.

Tina, I did read The Rake and liked that one.

I'm kinda with Jess... I'm not a really big Putney fan, but T&R is one of my top ten romances, so... maybe your tastes are exactly the opposite of mine, in which case I'd recommend Petals in the Storm and Shattered Rainbows, both of which I hated. ;-)

I've read a lot of Putney & think she can be really good.  There are a couple of Fallen Angels books that are great, but mostly they were just B variety good, IMO.  I liked Shattered Rainbows & One Perfect Rose, and I did like T&R, but I'm kinda with Sherron; it didn't make keeper status with me.  Dancing on the Wind and River of Fire - myeh - they were only so-so.  I kept all of them for a long time & finally posted them all here.  The Wild Child will always be my favorite Putney, & The Rake was pretty decent.  And I think everyone already knows I despised Uncommon Vows:P
