Love Dean Koontz

Dean Koontz has always been good at creating interesting, believable, likeable characters; good plots with both suspense and action; and great endings. I think what I found scariest about this book is that it was within the realm of possibility. Doesn't everyone second-guess their own mind occasionally (like when you are trying to remember where you put something that you have lost)?

It's a fear more paralyzing than falling. More terrifying than absolute darkness. More horrifying than anything you can imagine. It's the one fear you cannot escape, no matter where you run...no matter where you hide. It's the fear of yourself. It's real. It can happen to you. And facing it can be deadly.
