Several years ago, I read a trade size romance.  In the back, were excerpts for upcoming books.

The one I'm thinking of involved an Aussie man on a cruise ship.   In the excerpt, he was talking to another crew member who was just starting work.  The hero was off work and was going to take a shower and then find a woman to get laid.

I know its not much to go on but I wrote down the title/author at the time and then lost it.  I don't know why it popped back into my head but now it won't go away!

It wasn't erotica but erotica-lite if that makes sense.  A Bad Boys sort of book, not Ellora's Cave.  And it sounded somewhat humourous also.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

The Trouble with Paradise?  It's a Berkley release by Jill Shalvis.  She's got Aussie Rules, but I don't think that's on a cruise ship.  I'm just guessing at these based on the description; I haven't had a chance to read these yet...

I don't think its Jill Shalvis (I've read Aussie Rules) because I think it was an author I hadn't read before.

But thanks!

I think it was cutesy and sexy, you know?  I'd appreciate it, Susanna!

someone suggested Crazy for You by Kate Angell...funny I just got this book not too long ago and now it's hiding but it's not tradesize..it's MMP..I remember a cruise ship on the cover though. I'll try bumping the post up tonight or tomorrow and see if anyone else there has any ideas.

No, not it.  I want to say his name is Mick but I could be wrong about that but I know he was no playboy.  He worked on the ship.

*sigh*  Oh well.  I appreciate everyone who stopped to look.

How about All Night Long by Melissa Macneal? http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9780758214119-All+Night+Long

I don't remember the hero's name.  If that is the book, don't even bother.  I tried to read it once and it was a total waste of a credit.

A Great Catch by Michelle Jerott

The Man Who Got Away...

Lucas Hall once made Tessa Jardine feel 200% female-and 100% foolish after he walked out of her life without a word. Now, the tall, heart-catchingly handsome former Coast Guard hero is back. But a painful tragedy stands between them, and no matter how determined Lucas is to regain her trust, Tessa's equally determined to resist him. If only she could forget the passion she'd found in his arms...

...Is Back

Tessa once set Lucas's world on fire, and he's willing to do anything to regain her love. Working tegether has created a tension too powerful to ignore, and reignited the desire that's too powerful to resist. And with each passing day, and each burning kiss, Lucas is determined to make Tessa believe in their future together-and to make her see him again as one great catch.

Nope, neither of those.  Maybe it was one of those books that ended up not being released.

Anyway, thank you all.  Its not meant to be.
