A little too muc prayer and Jesus references for me but the story was good.
I have devoured this entire series. They are awesome books!
Kingsbury's best series yet!!!
A great series of inspiring stories of a wonderful family. #4 of the "Firstborn" series.
Excellent book.....but that is Karen Kingsbury!!!!
This is the fourth book in this series about the Baxter Family.
All of karen Kingsbury books are inspiring stories.
This series by Karen Kingsbury is captivating! You will not be able to put these books down.
Awesome book! I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and look forward to the next one. Karen Kingsbury has an uncanny way of hitting the nail on the head!
I really enjoyed reading this book but not any more than I enjoyed any of Karen Kingsbury's other books. She is one of the best authors I know!
This book is a story of how a family can hang together when a tragedy happens but still find comfort in each other when times are better. This book teaches a lesson of forgiveness and love and I truly believe that anyone who reads one of Karen's books will never be the same again!
Very good couldn't put it down
Great story. Makes you want to read more!
This is a good series, but I think it could have been presented in three books just as well as five.
Great book. Need to read the whole series. Awesome books!
This book is one of Karen's best yet in the Baxter family drama. Book 4 of the Firstborn series made this reader feel like I was living the action and drama of this book. I cried, laughed, got frustrated, cried some more and cheered them on at the end. This book is such a mix of feelings and victories for God!
Have a great read and fall in love with this one just like I did!
I love this series and the characters, but I didn't enjoy this title as well. Too much paparazzi and not enough of the inspirational help that Kingsbury is so good at weaving into her fiction.
I loved the Redemption series and love that it continues with the Firstborn series. I am really enjoying reading these books.
This is the fourth book in the second set of series (Firstborn) with the Baxter Family. There are three sets of series:
Redemption Series (5 books)
Firstborn Series (5 books)
Sunrise Series (4 books)
In addition, the Above the Line Series by Karen Kingsbury also includes the Baxter family.
I have found these books are not good stand alone books as the ending always leaves a little suspense for the reader that only the future books in the series will help answer.
This is one of my favorite books in the series so far as many questions are answered and relationships built upon that seemed very fragile initially. This is a great series for the believer and nonbeliever a like. Although the book seems to center mostly on the lives of Dayne Matthews (movie star) and Katy Hart (director of Christian plays), the Baxters are still nearby. The series so far have dealt with some major life issues: unwed pregnancy, death of abusive spouse, fire rescue, near drowning of young child, deaths of close friends, cancer of spouse, adoption, weddings, births, stalkers, cross country moves, and relationships in crisis. The series has a little of something for everyone.
Firstborn series book # 4
OH, the suspense, the love, the "what are they going to do?" feelings as I read this book... hardly able to lay it down! Now I share it with you , as I hope to find the next episode available here at Paperback Swap!
Very different view of celebrity relationships. I enjoyed the suspense.
Can't wait to read the next book in this series
