This is one of Puzo's best, who wrote The Godfather. The family must comes first.

Alexander told his children, loyalty to family must come before all else if we falter in that faith all will be condemned

Great read! I like it that, for once, the Borgias are portrayed as humans and not monsters, and everything they do has a reason.

This is a Puzo masterpiece. It takes the reader through the up and downs of the Pope and his rivals. Interesting and easy to read.

A very different sort of book from the author of "The Godfather." He writes about the Borgia family from the 15th century. An interesting read...
Absolutely wonderful! This is a far cry from "The Godfather"
One of this best books on life within the mafia.
