Fantasy Author Claudia J Edwards. I have always been a huge fan of her books: Taming the Forest King, Bright and Shining Tiger, Horsewoman in Godsland. Strong, vibrant heroines with great sense of honor and integrity. In 1989 she published Eldrie the Healer (The Bastard Princess Book 1) which was a wonderful book and obviously the lead-in to a series and :poof: Nothing. Nada. No more. Is anyone familiar with this author? I can't find where she might have passed away or started publishing under a nom de plume, and I can't understand why such a talent would abruptly cease writing. (When there are so many who SHOULD!) Any other Edwards fans out there who might have a clue? At the very least, if you are a fantasy fan, allow me to recommend what books of her's exist! |

Thanks for the info, Wizard. Personally, I think getting married is no excuse for letting your readers down! |

Claudia wrote: The Bastard Princess series got caught in the works when Pageant, which bought the rights to all four, was bought up by Ballantine, which was later bought up by Random House. Only the first one was actually published, but someone out there owned the rights to the series. I'm looking into getting the rest published, but Random House doesn't answer my letters. And: It's a nice warm glow to know that there are people who remember my books. Claudia She also says that her health is currently making her unable to sit at a computer for long stretches of time. |
