I really enjoyed The Faraday Girls. It was current, well written and a good story. The interaction between the sisters, father and niece was very believable - every family deals with issues. I might have changed one aspect of the ending for my own liking - but the author wrapped up all the parts of the story nicely. I now have all Monica McInerney's earlier books on my Wish List - a sure sign of how much I liked this book.

This an excellent, well-written novel about family developing, growing and the secrets they keep. I thoroughly enjoyed this book - while it was over 500 pages I never tired of it. The characters were well developed and the storyline flowed. I recommend this book. Carol

I have read almost all of this author's books. I really like her themes. This book is one about sisters. It's a book that shows that even though you have known someone for all of your life you don't necessarily know everything about them. Also if your a fan of Maeve Binchy this is an author whose books you will probably like.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It had an interesting premise and lively and strong characters. The ending took me by surprise... I would have expected something different... but, in the end I was quite satisfied. It made me giggle, as well as tear up. I think she is a wonderful writer and I will continue to look out for her books!

Light, easy read. Nothing terribly memorable about this book, but a nice beach/vacation read.
