I was fortunate enough to receive an advance copy of Alice LaPlante's Turn of Mind (to review for BookBrowse): it is available now, and it is FASCINATING.

It reminds me of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, in that the story unfolds from the point of view of a woman whose thought processes are not "normal" (she has Alzheimer's). To complicate matters, she may have murdered her neighbor.

It's a gripping, brilliant book, and I most highly recommend it!

Meg, this is the book I posted about on Invisible Threads--the one my brother borrowed, and then lent to someone else (this was a couple months ago!).

Will I ever see it again?!

Thanks for the recommendation! It looks great. I will add it to (one of) my list(s).
