I am really liking this series...Just enough clues through out the book to help you figure it out if you are paying attention. I will for sure be reading the rest of this series.

I really enjoyed this mystery. A housewife/reporter who is always at the wrong place at the wrong time. A very funny read.

This installment really focused on Lucy..she is out of town..on her own...stronger character development than previously. Enjoy!

Lucy Stone is torn between the opportunity to attend a Boston newspaper conference and being home with her family for Father's Day. As a part time reporter and intrepid snoop, Lucy begins to investigate a murder. But she can't help wondering if her name will end up on a byline--or in an obit.

When her part-time reporting gig gives Lucy the opportunity to attend a Boston newspaper conference, she looks forward to a vacation. As usual with Lucy she is soon knee deep in solving murder.
I'm glad to see Lucy getting away from home for a few days on a little busman's holiday. It would have all been wonderful, if it wasn't for the owner of several newspapers dying from an asthma attack so suddenly. Lucy being Lucy, she of course tries to determine whether it is an accidental death or something else. Instead of being able to concentrate on all the workshops she is supposed to be attending she launches out to investigate this crime. Oh, yeah, there is also this little problem of Father's Day coming up - will she get home in time to make sure Bill has a great day?
