This book tells the story of Corrie Ten Boom's life before "The Hiding Place". She was a precious human being and I feel it's a privilege to know her as well as this books lets us.

I loved this book. Miss ten Boom's simple writings always make me feel at peace with God and life no matter how crazy things are. My only complaint is that it wasn't longer.

A wonderful book! Corrie's family is every bit as delightful and inspiring as she was herself.

The Ten Boom family is one of my favorites! I enjoyed this book, as I have all the rest of Corrie's books that I've read. She and her family make me realize I do not know what it is to truly sacrifice for others.
