Susanna, you listed 75% of my list! I'm not familiar with the Meg books but from the time I was about 7 until, well, the present, I have been a big mystery fan. As a child I always had my nose is a mystery book! These were my favorites: Trixie Belden The Boxcar Children Mary C. Jane mysteries (Maine author) Nancy Drew Also, for some reason, this system will not recognize breaks or double spacing in my posts. I'm not sure how to remedy that. Any clues would be appreciated!

Nancy Drew, Dana Girls, Trixie Belden, and Alfred Hitchcock's The Three Investigators.  I'm reading some of this last series to my son right now and he loves them, too!  A mystery fan in the making.  :->

I think Holly Beth Walker wrote the Meg myteries. Mine are paperbacks and I searched them on here 'cause couldnt' remember the author's name. They weren't as important to me as the trixie beldens and boxcar childrent(those are STILL important and I read them from time to time LOL) and Nancy Drews I like too. I think I bought the Meg books because they were at FOL sale and the discount store next to the grocery store sold them! they're still good though.

I even like the new boxcar chlldren books which suprised me since there were so many ch anges (but htey had to make changes because of the times though having 'dear aunt jane' go from her death bed to leading a canoe trip through the wilderness was a bit far fetched LOL!)

Nancy Drew,  Trixie Belden, Connie Blair, Dana Girls and Meg were favorites of mine, as well!  I still have most of my books and I re-read them from time to time when I need a break from my "grown-up" books :)

Hmm any one ever heard of the "three cousins detective club" books?  I also loved the babysitters club mystery books and the nancy drew mysteries.

They are pretty entertaining, aren't they, Sam?  My son is turning into a mystery fan, too, which makes the third generation!

I also like this series 'three cousins detectives' I think is the name. I saw them at a Christian bookstore about 10 years ago and then borrowed a lot from the library..they're just too expensive to buy new (very thin books) but I enjoyed most of the stories..esp the one about the stolen pink flamingos!
