Hard to pick just one! I'd have to say Susan May Warren, at least for right now.

Can I list more than one? Just a few are:

Frank Peretti
Erynn Mangum
Gilbert Morris
Tracey Bateman
Judy Baer
Christy Barritt
Lori Wick

If I had to pick just one, it would be Gilbert Morris.

Janette Oke

Lori Wick

Beverly Lewis

Wanda E. Brunstetter

etc.

I'm looking to try Deeanne Gist, Cathy Marie Hake, and others too. So many that I haven't yet read but look promising! :)

Cathy Marie Hake books are great! I recently finished Whirlwind and loved it. Looking forward to the sequel, That Certain Spark, due out this summer.

I started reading Christian fiction in the '80s and B.J. Hoff quickly became my favorite author. Since then I've read many others - and lots of them are high on my list of favs - but B.J. remains on the top of my list. I think I own every book she has written, except on that I gave away as a gift.

Bodie Thoene - marvelous writer of historical books!  Very well written.  The Zion Covenant series is not new but they are wonderful.  There are several series.

Will Cramer - an author I recently discovered and love.

For non-fiction I would have to say Catherine Marshall. They are older but so completely relevant to our lives.

For fiction it's Francine Rivers all the way.

I have too many to name. But off the top of my head, Tamera Leigh, if you want a good laugh. I wasn't wild about  last year's book, but her other books were great keepers.   Tamera Alexander is good too. I recently enjoyed, From a Distance. I just bought, The Inheritance. I like Beth Patillo's Sweetgum Knit Lit books too.  I can go on and on!

Right now, my favorite would have to be Cindy Woodsmall.  I just finished her Sisters of the Quilt series, and it was the best thing I've read in a long time!

But I also like Francine Rivers, Robin Lee Hatcher, Deborah Raney, Lynn Austin, and Roxanne Henke.

I like almost everything my favorite authors have written, but I'll post the best book for each of my favorite authors:

Deeanne Gist (The Measure of a Lady was my favorite) , Tamera Alexander (can't pick a favorite because I loved them all), Rachel Hauck (Sweet Caroline was sooo good!), Cathy Marie Hake (Fancy Pants was my favorite)

I would say Karen Kingsbury, Beverly Lewis, Tracie Peterson, Wanda Brunsetter. I also loved sisters of the Quilt Series by Cindy Woodsmall. I am probably leaving someone out but this is my favorite type of books to read. I am about to start karen Kingsbury's Take One of her new series.

Fiction :  Joel Rosenberg and  Thomas Kinkade.  I love the Cape Light series.  I can hardly wait for the next one.

Non-Fiction:  Max Lucado {without a doubt}
