Oops hit enter too fast lol.

List the genre you don't like and the next person list a book in that genre that they loved.

I'll start, mine is contemporaries... (p.s. I've read Susan Eliz Phillips and sadly didn't like her)

Please list some contemps that you love

I love historical romances! At the moment I am reading anything by Eloisa James that I can get my hands on....I'm not real big on Romance Suspense!

I started reading Kenyon's Dark Hunter series but quickly go tired of it, but Hunter's Moon by Clamp/Adams caught me off guard and I loved it!

I've tried a few time travel, but could never get in to that genre.

ok time travel is easy for me so long as you don't want serious! I love Sandra Hill's viking/time travel series, esp hot & heavy which I read before realizing it was a series!

let's see what I don't like and need a recommendation for..hmm...ok, a historical with an Indian dude! I've read some a while back but the bodice ripper kind and I don't want a mean guy..alpha but not mean!

Historical with an Indian Dude...try Captive Heart by Cheryl Reavis, or Comanche Woman by Joan Johnston.

I really don't like romances that involve psychics or new-age heroines.

Hmm, romance with psychics....I would say Kay Hooper's "Stealing Shadows".  Or any of herShadows, Fear or Evil series.

I'm not a tremendous fan of Chick Lit.....

hmm c hick lit! I like some but not all and there's lots of 'definitions' but I've really enjoyed Meg Cabot's size 12 is not fat and size 14 is not fat either--these are chick lit  mysteries. for older chick lit that was hilarious I liked heather estay's 'it's never too late to get a life'.

gosh can't think what else I don't like that I need a rec for! how about a romance where the woman is 'alpha' or 'jointly alpha' if that's a term!..I usually hate these cause I like the man to be the alpha one with the job as a cop or whatever and not the woman in that position.

Oh, I have one for that! Try J.D. Robb's "In Death" series. She's a "alpha" person but Roarke holds on to his own lol.

Hmmm, another one I don't like.... how about a western type book. I don't really read them because you will usually find some kind of animal abuse in them.
