Since I've started reading some I figure I'd ask ... What's your favorite holiday romance story/stories ... Series or stand alone.

I'm reading the new Magical Christmas Cat anthology and liking it and will have to go through my piles to see what else but what are some of your favorites?? Figure if we list them early we can work on requesting for the season!!! Tis the season to be jolly!!! (Can't help it - couldn't believe Walmart was decorating in the Halloween aisle for Christmas yesterday). :)

I really liked Marilyn Pappano's Season for Miracles and Some Enchanted Season (I think they're the first two books in her Bethlehem series).

Also for Christmas cheer, I tend to like Debbie Macomber's titles--she's got a bunch of angel ones--Mrs. Miracle, and then the connected ones featuring Shirley, Goodness, and Mercy--A Season of Angels, The Trouble With Angels, Touched by Angels, A Gift to Last, Those Christmas Angels, and Where Angels Go.  I also liked The Christmas Basket, The Snow Bride, and When Christmas Comes, and There's Something About Christmas was cute, but I didn't love Christmas Letters.  Some of these have been reprinted since in other collections.

For short and cute/hot, I like the Brava Christmas anthologies--Jingle Bell Rock; A Very Merry Christmas; The Night Before Christmas; Merry Christmas, Baby; I'm Your Santa; and the new one, To All a Good Night.  Also, The Morgue the Merrier.

I also liked Holiday Heroes, by Catherine Mann and Rachel Lee (Silhouette Romantic Suspense).

I'm sure there are a ton of others that aren't popping to mind yet...

I like vicki lewis thompson's 'stuck with you' set over Thanksgiving. a short harlequin love and laughter someone was searching for the title here a few years ago and I ordered.very funny!

there's an anthology - think it's santa baby but the jennifer cruise story about the action figure is really good.no sex in it but the other 2 are loaded seems like and I didnt' care for one of the others at all at the time but the Cruise story was cute!

I like Debbie Macomber too.

My favorite Christmas book is Must Love Mistletoe by Christie Ridgway, I read it every year. I also  like Here Comes Santa Claus by Trish Jensen, Kate Holmes, and Sandra Hill--it's pretty funny.

Mine is Strictly Business by Leigh Michaels, Harlequin Romance #2951.  It's hard to find, no sex, but a great story.

I'd forgotten, but one of my favorites is Jane Blackwood's story in Jingle All the Way--Maybe This Christmas.  I don't recall the others very well, but that one story is a keeper for me!

I just ordered Must Love Mistletoe. It sounds hillarious. Can't wait to get it. Although I think I will wait until after Thanksgiving to pick it up. Early Nov is just too early for Xmas stuff for me.

I read A Home For The Holidays by Johanna Lindsay a few years ago and liked it.  If I remember right: he's seeking revenge on her father so he destroys his business and forecloses on their home.  But when he sees the beautiful (of course) daughter and her sickly brother-he feels so bad he moves them in with him-where he of course falls in love with them all.

I really like reading the Christmas anthologies this time of year.  Since there is so much to be done you can read a story and finish it without getting engrossed in an entire book.

I just finished the "Santa Baby" anthology.  The Jennifer Crusie story called "Hot Toy" about the action figure was absolutely hillarious.  I've read three other Crusie books and enjoyed them but this story made me laugh out loud.

I read the "I'm Your Santa" anthology and the Lori Foster story "The Christmas Present" was very good.

I read the "All I want for Chrismas" anthology and I enjoyed the "Santa wears Spurs" story by Kinley MacGregor.

I ordered the "Naughty or Nice" anthology and it's on it's way.

I read "Simple Gifts" and "Gifts of Love" - both had Jude Deveraux and Judith McNaught stories in them (two were repeated).

I almost ordered the new Lisa Kleypas anthology called "A Historical Christmas Present" but found out that I alread have that story in another anthology called "Wish List" I have on my TBR pile.

You need to be careful if you are actually purchasing these anthologies so that you don't re-buy a story you already own.  Some people actually give a bad review to a book containing a previously published story.  I don't think it is fair to downgrade a book because of that.

I ordered the brand new anthologies from the library of the following:

It Happened One Night - Stephanie Laurens, Mary Balogh, Jacquie D'Allesandro, and Candice Hern

A Bride By Christmas - Heather Graham, Jo Beverley and Candace Camp

Snowy Night With a Stranger - Jane Feather, Sabrina Jeffries and Julia London

Merry Christmas and enjoy!
