What were your favorites that you read this year? Mine are definitely The Hunger Games and Catching Fire. I can't wait until the third next year!

My daughter wants me to cast a big vote for the House of Night series - PC Cast & Kristin Cast.  When a new book comes out, she cannot put it down!!

I liked the House of Night books too. The last one left us with a major cliff hanger though. I can not wait until Burned comes out!

Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld

Fire by Kristin Cashore

The Maze Runner by James Dashner

Catching Fire is up there too, but I didn't like it as much as The Hunger Games.

Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta.

I enjoyed The Knife of Never Letting Go, The Ask and the Answer, Graceling, Fire, and Catching Fire immensely, but I think they all had issues that made them less than perfect.

My favorites were the House of Night books by P.C. Cast & Kristin Cast, the Vampire Academy books by Richelle Mead and also Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side by Beth Fantasky (I think I have the author correct.)

I got back into YA books this year and I'm glad I did!  I read a  lot of good books.

I just read Lock and Key, which I had seen discussed somewhere and I could not put it down.
