Would you recommend their books?

Similar writing style to other authors?

Fun, light-hearted or more serious drama?

I really appreciate those that take the time to respond.  I'm on the hunt for some new authors to read while recovering from an upcoming surgery.

I have tucked away some Madeline Hunter books (love her books) and some Lisa Kleypas for my recovery time and will be trying Lynsay Sands for the first time.

Thanks!!

I read Passion by Lisa Valdez and hated it.

I read Brazen Angel by Elizabeth Boyle which is one of her older out of print books.  I liked it but it's not a light hearted type book.  I don't know if it was typical of her style. It wasn't a romantic romp like say a Jillian Hunter book.  But I liked it enough to read more by her.

I'm with Mary - I read Passion and hated it.  It's very rare that a book is a DNF for me, but that one was close.

I, on the other hand, loved Passion and have been eagerly awating Patience, which is now due out in April.  Haven't read any Boyle though.

Valdez has only published one book so far so there really isnt much to base on.

Neither authors are what I consider light-hearted.

Instead of opening numerous threads, why dont you just tell us which authors are your favorites and we'll just suggest the authors closes to them?
