I actually loved this book. It was definately better than the last two. Kalina and Micah have loads of chemistry. I love that he was determined to clear his name while at the same time acknowledging his mistake and correcting them in the process. I love when they admitted there feelings it wasnt drawn out with useless misunderstandings. I also loved the medical storyline it didnt take up the entire book but it also made us understand Micah more as he was not apart of the other westmoreland books.

This recent installment of the Westmoreland's was a complete drag and it took me forever to finish.

I have become completely disappointed with Brenda Jackson's recent works. They are all predictable and the only thing different with each new book is the cover. Feeling the Heat was no different. Main characters got together had the best sex of their lives, a misunderstanding broke them up for a few years, and when they see each other again they run circles around each other and finally realize the truth and live happily ever after.

In the future I am going to really take my time picking up any new Brenda Jackson books

This book was a complete dud. Kalina and Micah had an affair 2yrs ago, and all they talked about for more than half of this book was that affair, and most of the talking was done to themselves in their own heads. It really was quite boring. The term "2 yrs ago" was said so many times during this book it just became too much. Yes the reader knows 10 pages in that something went down between these two in the past, but to keep talking about it for 100+ pages of the book is just a complete waste of time. These two had little chemistry, and the two or three love scenes that they had just didn't do it for me. More of this book should have been focused on these two reconnecting and rebuilding their relationship, and less on thinking and speaking about the past, and also their careers. Thank goodness for book swaps.
