This one wasn't what I expected, all the drama and mystery got boring after a while, a shamed because I have enjoy the other Brand girls books. I do hope the author doesn't take as long as she did with this one to write Selene story, she's a interesting characther.

The only thing that save the book was the kid, he's adorable.

I didn't like this one as much. Jim was a jerk using Kara up until the end. As much as I like how sweet Kara was I didn't like how she valued herself so little. In a way she was no different than Angela, Jim's ex. The little boy was cool.

The book was ok. Just thought things were too easy for Jim when it comes to Kara. I can see him taking her for granted for the rest of their lives and she would allow it. A little depressing if I thought about it

Wife Wanted
Love not required or even desired
Or so Chicago cop Jimmy Corona thought when he returned to his Oklahoma hometown and ran smack into Kara Brand. All Jimmy wanted was to find a mother for his son, someone to keep little Tyler safe while he took down his latest perp.

Instead, he found that the shy awkward Kara he'd known from high school had blossomed into a genuine beauty with a big heart and courage to spare -- qualities he learned to value when danger followed him to town and only Kara stood between his son and certain death. Suddenly love didn't seem like such a scary prospect after all.
